HR Process

All of us at some stage would have experienced what we will deliberate in this post.

It has been common practice for the consultants to scout for suitable candidates with similar experience as required by the organization. It will be strange that the way of search is very unique, if the consultant is looking for some candidate with testing experience, then the search word would be testing, the results will even display a person from the laboratory testing to even some in the field of soil testing.

After this exercise is carried out the candidates are contacted and somehow convinced to attend the interview sometimes even against their interest for even the count. There would have been instances where you would have gone for some position as said by the consultant; you are being interviewed for some other position. If the position is lucrative it is fine else you would feel what kind of process is this?

Recently there was an instance in which I had applied for an organization by mail and got an interview call through mail. After taking leave in the present company, when we try to attend, the address mentioned in the email for the main office and the interview was to be held in different office which can be treated as lack of preparedness by the interviewer.

After you finally reach the office where you are to be interviewed only to find that the said was on planned leave, no one else could care of this situation in the company. This makes the whole process very disgusting.
