Quit Mumbai?

We are often talking about the unity of the country in various forms, but when it comes to reality it looks a lot different from the speech.

We can take a closer look at what had happened in Mumbai the so called commercial capital of the country where we have witnessed a bizarre incident calling for the north Indians to quit Mumbai.

If the north Indians want to have their culture or festivity to be celebrated in their way they must have their say in it. Let us address a unique question which comes to my mind immediately as there are so many maharashtrians settled all over the world, do they not celebrate their culture and want to do some for their own community. Are they being questioned anywhere in the world? Why that is always Shiv Sena gets itself into a controversy of this kind or it is just cheap publicity are aiming at?

Quietly strangely most of the politicians seem to have turned a blind eye towards on the issue. This is followed suit in Delhi too which means if you were go to a city and live for the purpose of bread and butter you have change to their lifestyle and forget your homeland. If so then I would call as height of being stupid from any angle you would want to look on.

Story of Thiruvidanthai Temple

The third incarnation of Mahavishnu is in the form of a boar called Varaha. There are many shrines dedicated to Varaha and one such temple is Thiruvidanthai, near Mahabalipuram. The presiding deity is Lord Lakshmi Varaha and his divine consort is Komalavalli Thayar. The temple is rich in puranic lore. Sage Kalava, believed to have 360 daughters, lived at this place which was an agraharam those days (place where Brahmins live). To get his daughters married was a Herculean task and this he surrendered to the Lord Mahavishnu, known for his benevolence, assumed the form of a Brahmachari (bachelor) and visited. St Anthony Shrine’s humble origin dates back to the year 1997 when on 24th February, the Catholic residents of Palkalainagar, Palavakkam, enthusiastically erected a thatched shed in honour of St. Anthony with permission and blessings from the late Archbishop of Madras-Mylapore, Most Rev.
