Dream come True

A student of catering, who gained over period of 5 years with an ambition to have his own with the help of his brother Murugesh , who runs a travels has started with small joint – BURGER POINT ,in the Thiruvalluvar Nagar 2nd Main Road.

The Story of the boy whose name is Thiyagu how has for long cherished a dream put up his own joint, come true of course with the help of brother and others members in his family who have made him realize a dream.

This Small Joint has opened on the last Saturday (22nd March 2008) which is nicely poised for a good eat-out for the weekends. They are right now concentrating on the Burgers – Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian, Hot Dogs , Pop Corn , Ice Creams and a good of variety of fresh juices. We did speak to a few of them having, they were very impressed with the quality of the stuff being provided. They also said that it was good value for the money.

They also have plans to start with Executive Lunch Pack and give deliveries at request. They are also in the process of home-deliveries shortly. It is good joint to frequent for the burger kind of stuff.

Story of Thiruvidanthai Temple

The third incarnation of Mahavishnu is in the form of a boar called Varaha. There are many shrines dedicated to Varaha and one such temple is Thiruvidanthai, near Mahabalipuram. The presiding deity is Lord Lakshmi Varaha and his divine consort is Komalavalli Thayar. The temple is rich in puranic lore. Sage Kalava, believed to have 360 daughters, lived at this place which was an agraharam those days (place where Brahmins live). To get his daughters married was a Herculean task and this he surrendered to the Lord Mahavishnu, known for his benevolence, assumed the form of a Brahmachari (bachelor) and visited. St Anthony Shrin, Palavakkam Chennai

St Anthony Shrine’s humble origin dates back to the year 1997 when on 24th February, the Catholic residents of Palkalainagar, Palavakkam, enthusiastically erected a thatched shed in honour of St. Anthony with permission and blessings from the late Archbishop of Madras-Mylapore, Most Rev. Dr. Arul Das James, and under the spiritual guidance of Rev. Fr. Vincent Chinnadurai, then Parish Priest of St. Joseph's Church, Erukanchery.From 27th February, 1997 onwards, Rev. Fr. P.M.
