Education for the Poor

Brotherhood Community College was founded in the year 2001 and has been operation for the last seven years and was engaged in running institutions in Thanjavur, Vellore , Trichy ,Madurai as private tuition centers for lesser privileged ones. They have been primarily targeting to provide for the education for the poor section of the people. This is institution has been recognized by the Bharat Seva Sangh and is accredited for the certificate completion course.
Nearly more than 10000 of them studying at their various centers for the 10th and 12th std.

They have now opened in Palavakkam to extend their service in the field of education in two sectors – Teacher training and Paramedical Courses.

They are providing many courses for those who have passed their 10th Std for nominal fees with the exception that for really deserving candidates they are sponsored by the institute and enabling them progress in life. They also provide hostel facility at very nominal fees of Rs.500/- per month.

They have good training facility with well qualified professionals who can take care of the training of the students. Mrs Amirtha Arasu – Principal of the Institution says “some of the schools have visited their institution and are impressed and are also planning some of the teachers for some part-time training in their institute which is commendable effort by itself.”

We also checked on the placement help that they are providing for the students, right now they do not have any tie-up organized, but some of the institutions have approached them directly for sending the students after the completion of the course to their school as well.

This is very laudable effort on the part of the institution to work the weaker section of the society which will go in a long way to help the improvement of the down-trodden.
The Institution is located at 1/120-B Anna Salai, Palavakkam, Chennai – 600 041. Contact : Mrs Amirtha Arasu – Principal . Handphone : +91 94443 20278.
