Vitalife Clinic - Oseoporosis Camp
VitaLife Clinic conducted a free-camp on Osteoporosis (Bone Problems) for Women on 1st March 2008 from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM at their premises.
This was led by a team of Doctors – Dr. Manju – Gynaecology & Obstetrics and Dr. K Ramani – Orthopaedics. Initially you need fill up the registration form and followed by the testing of the bone density by the equipment. If the reading was in the safe zone, they are asked to meet the family physician to have insight to the Osteoporosis; else in the red zone then you are asked to meet the Orthopaedics for the remedial measure.
The camp was very successful with over more then 80 people attending, and are looking at organizing, more and more of this kind in future. They also conducted a 15 minutes session on the Osteoporosis deliberating over the issue and how to take measures to prevent the same. They are planning to organize a similar camp on 6th April for Osteoporosis, Bone & Joint Problems.
We also discussed about their activities in other areas. They elaborated on their setting a small health center in Tharamani as IT Corporate Health Center for carrying out the Pre-employment Screening, Medical Check up and also conducting drug screening of the employees as needed by the BPO to meet their standards.
They are looking at having 6-10 clinics in the next years time in metros like – Pune , Chennai , Hyderabad, Bangalore and also move on the next level of cities like Madurai , Coimbatore , Mysore , Vishakapatnam and others where these kind of facilities are even more required of.
Their motto as their CEO says “We will reach you close to your office or Residence so that you do not have reach for us”
